I have a Bostitch oil air compressor it does not give enough air can u help me out please?
Where is the pressure switch?
Hello John. I put both of your posts together.
First thing is, without knowing the model of Bostitch you’ve got, I have no idea where your compressor pressure switch is. If, in your reply, you add a photo of your compressor, that will help.
As to “it does not give enough air”, did it before? Is this a new condition? What is it not giving enough air for? We all need more info to help you. Thanks.
my compressor starts runs but when pressure reached blows relief valve and continues to run can you help with a fix ??
Not knowing the make or model makes a specific diagnosis difficult. Typically, if an air compressor runs on until the PRV blows off, it’s the pressure switch that is at fault, and it should be replaced before the compressor is used again. That is, of course, if the PRV is letting go at a pressure level above what is the normal cut out of the compressor.
